On June 19, 2016, in Clayton, Alabama, 27-year-old Ciara Ingram was found dead in her apartment, having been stabbed multiple times. Her body was discovered by a maintenance worker nearly a week after her death. At the time, her two children were in the custody of her ex-husband, Jarod Ingram, who became the primary suspect in the investigation.
