On the night of December 31, 1994, in Hoke County, North Carolina, Rodriguez Ferguson carried out a deadly robbery-shooting at the Puppy Creek Family Fun Center, killing four people and permanently paralyzing a teenager. In the early hours of January 1, 1995, he fatally shot a fifth victim outside the Zodiac Club near Raeford.
