Overview

On the afternoon of February 26, 2020, 51-year-old electrician and Molson Coors employee Anthony Ferrill carried out a workplace mass shooting on the company’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin campus. In a matter of minutes, he killed five co-workers before dying by suicide. The attack unfolded inside the historic brewery complex known locally as Miller Valley, shocking the city and prompting an immediate large-scale police response and lockdowns in the surrounding area.

Location

The shooting occurred at the Molson Coors Beverage Company campus at 4100 West State Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The multi-building complex includes brewing facilities and corporate offices.

The Perpetrator

Anthony Ferrill, 51, was a longtime employee who worked as an electrician at the Milwaukee campus. Colleagues and public statements described him as a current employee familiar with the inner workings of the facility.
