Dale "Huddy" Hudson, a 60-year-old White male, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2020, in a workplace shooting at the Molson Coors brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. An electrician at the facility since 2008, Hudson was one of five employees killed that day.
The incident unfolded in the afternoon when a fellow Molson Coors employee, Anthony Ferrill, 51, opened fire on his coworkers before taking his own life.
The attack occurred within the sprawling brewery complex, prompting a massive police response and a lockdown of nearby schools and businesses.
Milwaukee police identified the victims as Jesus Valle Jr., 33; Gennady Levshetz, 61; Trevor Wetselaar, 33; Dana Walk, 57; and Dale Hudson, 60. All were employees of Molson Coors. The shooter, Anthony Ferrill, was also an electrician at the company. He was found deceased at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
As the perpetrator died at the scene, there were no arrests made in connection with the shooting. The motive for the attack remains officially undetermined, though some reports suggested Ferrill had been involved in a long-running dispute with a coworker and had felt discriminated against. The tragic event left the community and the families of the victims in mourning for the lives senselessly lost.
