In the city of Saint-Louis, Missouri, a dispute between roommates escalated into a tragedy that ended the life of 53-year-old Richard Lee Brock, a Black male. On the evening of September 20, 2022, at approximately 9:45 p.m., an argument broke out between Brock and his roommate, Scipio M. Clark, at their apartment in the 3900 block of Chippewa Street, near Gustine Avenue. The verbal altercation took a fatal turn when Clark allegedly shot Brock in the head.
