In the heat of a summer afternoon on July 20, 2024, the life of 20-year-old Kyle Anthony Taylor Jr. was tragically cut short in the Baden neighborhood of north St. Louis. A Black male, Taylor Jr. was found unresponsive in the street in the 800 block of Wall Street shortly before 2:00 p.m. Emergency medical services responded to the scene, but his gunshot wounds were too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
