On July 20, 2024, 20-year-old Kyle Anthony Taylor Jr. was fatally shot in the 800 block of Wall Street in the Baden neighborhood of north St. Louis. Police responded to the scene around 2 p.m., where they found Taylor Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
