On the evening of January 11, 2022, St. Louis police officers responded to a call regarding a shooting in the southern part of the city. Upon arriving at the 5300 block of South Compton Avenue in the Carondelet neighborhood at approximately 9:12 p.m., authorities discovered an unresponsive individual suffering from gunshot wounds.
