On the early morning of July 27, 2024, a violent incident unfolded in downtown St. Louis involving 18-year-old Michael Lamont Moore-Pittman, known to friends and family as 'Lil Mike.' At approximately 3:30 a.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s 4th District responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of North 9th Street.
