On June 20, 2023, Terrell Johnson, a 26-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot in the head during a double shooting incident in the 1900 block of Marcus Avenue, near Leduc Street. The shooting occurred around 3:45 p.m., and Johnson was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. A second victim, a 23-year-old man, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his arms but was reported to be in stable condition following treatment at a hospital.
