In a tragic turn of events stemming from a family argument, 38-year-old Toreyon Bledsoe was shot and killed in Dellwood, a suburb of St. Louis. The fatal encounter took place on a Saturday afternoon in June 2020, inside the home he shared with his mother. An argument between Bledsoe and his 31-year-old half-brother, Quintin Morris, escalated into an exchange of gunfire.
Both men were armed, and investigators believe three handguns were fired during the altercation.
Evidence recovered from the scene suggested that Morris was the aggressor in the shootout. Bledsoe succumbed to his injuries, while Morris was hospitalized with several gunshot wounds.
Following the investigation into the fatal shooting, Quintin Morris was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with the death of his half-brother, Toreyon Bledsoe.
