Otis Lee Brown III, a 24-year-old Black male, was found deceased on the evening of Monday, April 11, 2016. His body was discovered inside a vehicle in the 4800 block of Riverview Boulevard in north St. Louis. An investigation determined that he had been fatally shot.
Born and raised in St.
Louis, Otis was known for his outgoing and kind nature. He had attended Emerson Elementary School and later Sumner High School. At the time of his death, he was working at a warehouse and the Cheesecake Factory. Remembered as a stylish and stand-up individual with a heart of gold, he was a playful man who deeply loved his family, especially his children. His death left a void in the lives of his mother, siblings, and his own young son and daughter.
