On the night of June 10, 2022, a violent incident occurred in the Baden neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the death of 46-year-old Charles Lawrence Jr. The shooting took place in the 8900 block of Newby Street, situated just a few blocks east of Halls Ferry Road.
