In the summer of 2022, a wave of violence over the Fourth of July weekend in St. Louis, Missouri, claimed the life of 36-year-old Kelsey Williams. On July 3, in the city's Dutchtown neighborhood, Williams was shot and found unconscious and barely breathing. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
