In a tragic incident on the evening of April 21, 2022, Bose Durham, a 76-year-old male, was found deceased in his north St. Louis County home. The residence, located in the 2500 block of Nathan Drive, became the scene of a police investigation after a call for a shooting was received at approximately 9:50 p.m.
Upon their arrival, responding officers discovered two men inside the home, both having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as Bose Durham and his 51-year-old son, who shared the same name. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation conducted by the St. Louis County Police Crimes Against Persons unit suggests the incident was a murder-suicide. It is believed that the younger Bose Durham shot his father before turning the gun on himself. Both father and son resided at the home where the shooting occurred. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event is ongoing.
