Lakwan Echols, a 19-year-old from Florissant, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 20, 2022, in a shooting incident in St. Louis. The shooting occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 5300 block of Terry Avenue, near Union Boulevard, which borders the Wells-Goodfellow and Kingsway West neighborhoods in north St. Louis. Echols was one of two individuals shot during the incident, and despite being transported to an area hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
