In the O'Fallon neighborhood of St. Louis, a quiet evening was shattered by violence on October 18, 2021. Inside his home, 53-year-old Dexter Pitts, a male resident, was discovered suffering from a grave injury. Emergency services were called to the scene just before 9:30 p.m., finding that Pitts had sustained a gunshot wound to his torso. He was alive but in critical condition.
