In the late afternoon of a Friday in St. Louis County, a sequence of events unfolded that tragically cut short the life of 16-year-old Tayvion Whitby. On September 23, 2022, what began as a robbery escalated into a fatal shooting and a subsequent car crash. The incident started in the 1200 block of Edlor Drive, where a teenage assailant approached the vehicle Tayvion was in with the intent to rob him.
