In the early evening of October 26, 2020, the life of 21-year-old Preston Bell, a Black male from Saint-Louis, Missouri, was tragically cut short. Around 6:10 p.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call at the intersection of Grand Boulevard and Carter Avenue in the city's Fairgrounds neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Bell suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
