Death by Force

On April 4, 2015, Michael Akins, a 32-year-old African American male from St. Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 5100 block of Maffitt Avenue in the city's Kingsway West neighborhood. Responding officers found Michael Akins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
