On the morning of June 16, 2024, a violent incident unfolded in Glasgow Village, an unincorporated community within St. Louis County, Missouri. At approximately 8:30 a.m., peace in the neighborhood was disrupted by the sound of gunfire, prompting a rapid response from local law enforcement. ShotSpotter technology, which detects the acoustic signature of gunshots, alerted the St. Louis County Police Department to a potential shooting in the 10400 block of Balmoral Drive.
