Damon Smith

In the summer of 2018, the life of 32-year-old Damon Smith, a Black male from Saint Louis, Missouri, was abruptly and violently ended. On the evening of July 23rd, in the Gravois Park neighborhood, Smith was shot multiple times. The attack occurred in the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue, where responding police officers found him on the ground with gunshot wounds to his head and torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
