On the night of June 6, 2022, violence erupted in the Fairground neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of a young man. Nicholas Keith, 21, was at a residence in the 4200 block of Pleasant Street, located near Penrose Street. Around 11:50 p.m., St. Louis police officers responded to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Keith unresponsive on the porch of the home.
