On January 27, 2023, 18-year-old Demetrius Golliday was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 3200 block of North 19th Street in St. Louis' Old North neighborhood. Officers responded to a shooting call around 8 p.m. and discovered Golliday lying in the street. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
