David Birchfield III, a 6-year-old boy from Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on February 22, 2020. The incident occurred in the Kingsway East neighborhood around 1:45 p.m. David was in a car with his family when an unknown assailant opened fire on their vehicle. His 9-year-old sister was also critically injured in the shooting, while a 7-year-old girl in the car was unharmed. The children's mother sustained injuries from shattered glass.
