On May 17, 2023, 40-year-old Kirk Lowe Jr. was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. At approximately 4:15 p.m., police responded to a call in the 4200 block of West Cook Avenue, located in the Vandeventer neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found Lowe inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
