In a west Phoenix alleyway, the life of 24-year-old Roy Orozco was tragically cut short on the evening of February 22, 2024. Responding to a call about a shooting at approximately 6:00 p.m. near the 4500 block of North 27th Drive, Phoenix police officers discovered Orozco with at least one gunshot wound. Despite the arrival of emergency services, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The initial reports from the police had incorrectly stated Orozco's age as 28, but a subsequent update correct ...
