On February 22, 2024, Roy Orozco, a 28-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, was found dead in an alleyway. The alley was located near the intersection of 27th Drive and Campbell Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Orozco with at least one gunshot wound.

The investigation led to the arrest of Andrew Ormsby, who is accused of fatally shooting Orozco. Ormsby was taken into custody by the Phoenix police on a later date following the incident.
