In a south Phoenix neighborhood, the life of 35-year-old Milton Forest Ayers III was cut short by an act of gun violence on the afternoon of Sunday, March 10, 2024. The fatal encounter occurred around 4:10 p.m. in the vicinity of 1700 W. Wayland Drive. Ayers was discovered lying on the ground, having sustained gunshot wounds.
