In the late evening hours of September 17, 2024, the life of 25-year-old Damian Lee Marler was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. A male of White / Caucasian descent with ties to the Honágháahnii of the Navajo Nation, he was fatally wounded in an act of gun violence. The incident occurred near a residence in the vicinity of 26th Place and Monte Vista Road, where Phoenix police officers responded to a call regarding a shooting at approximately 9:30 p.m.
