Lamar Octmous Ross, a 25-year-old Black male from Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of November 21, 2025, during a violent incident on North High Street in the city's downtown core. Reports indicate that around 2:57 a.m., officers with the Columbus Division of Police were dispatched to the 0000 block of North High Street after a call came in about a shooting.
