In the early moments of a Wednesday, just after midnight on August 10, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Michael Tyrone Scott Jr. was tragically cut short. A Black male from Moline Acres, Missouri, Scott was in an apartment in the city's Midtown neighborhood, in the 300 block of South Grand Boulevard near Saint Louis University, when he was shot multiple times.
