Death by Force

On March 11, 2024, 34-year-old Jaron Jackson-Craig was fatally shot while riding a MetroBus along Airport Road in Berkeley, Missouri. The assailant, identified as Anthony Frazier, had earlier carjacked a vehicle in Bellefontaine Neighbors before using it to block the bus's path. Frazier fired into the bus, striking both Jackson-Craig and another passenger, 37-year-old Jorge Andres Cantor Pinzon. Both victims were transported to a hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
