On August 31, 2025, police conducting a welfare check at a gated home on Glen Castle Court in the St. Ives Country Club area—an address that carries a Duluth mailing city—found 52-year-old Myoung Hee Choi, female, and her 15-year-old daughter, Grace, dead inside the residence; 52-year-old James Choi was also found dead at the scene.
