Adam Schrier, a 37-year-old white male, was tragically killed on August 6, 2014, in his home in Duluth, Georgia. The incident occurred during a home invasion at his residence on Summercrest Lane around 6 a.m. Schrier was shot and killed as he struggled with two intruders. His fiancée, Jami Smith, a 31-year-old woman, and her 8-year-old daughter were also injured in the attack, though their injuries were not life-threatening. A 4-year-old child present in the home was unharmed.
