The fatal incident occurred when a bullet from a neighboring apartment pierced through her wall, striking her in the head. The devastating discovery was made by her 17-year-old son, who found his mother unresponsive and immediately called for help.
The person responsible for the unintentional shooting was her 22-year-old neighbor, Maxwell Williamson. According to police reports, Williamson was cleaning his handgun when it accidentally discharged. Unaware of the fatal consequence of his actions, he left a note on Foley’s door to apologize for any damage the gunshot may have caused. Following an investigation into the aspiring actress's death, Maxwell Williamson was taken into custody.
