On a late Sunday evening, the life of 53-year-old Kim Bessellieu, a Black female, was tragically cut short in what police have described as a homicide. The incident occurred on September 1, 2019, at the Amber Trail Apartments in Duluth, Georgia, where Bessellieu resided. Just before 11 p.m., a knock at her door prompted her to answer, leading to a fatal encounter.
