On the evening of January 12, 2021, a violent incident unfolded in the Hyde Park neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of 27-year-old African American male Marcus Davis. Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 3900 block of North Florissant Avenue around 6:10 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
