In the early morning hours of August 27, 2017, a violent incident unfolded in the Gravois Park neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of a young man. Joseph M. Lee, a 19-year-old male, was found in the 3700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred around 3:00 a.m. on that Sunday, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement and emergency personnel.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Lee succumbed to his injuries, and homicide detectives began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
