In the spring of 2024, a quiet neighborhood in Atoka, Tennessee, was shattered by a violent act that claimed the life of Kristen Johnson, a 44-year-old Caucasian woman. On the evening of April 22nd, Johnson was fatally shot inside her home. The tragedy unfolded in the presence of her 16-year-old son, who also sustained a gunshot wound to his hand.
