Ronald Bassett, a 36-year-old man, was murdered on May 14, 1990, in Tennessee. His death was the result of a brutal homicide committed by Henry Eugene Hodges, a convicted serial killer and former sex worker. Hodges, who had a history of violent crimes, was known for targeting homosexual men, often robbing and killing them.
