On a Wednesday afternoon in early January 2021, the quiet atmosphere of the Penrose neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri, was shattered by the discovery of a violent crime. Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 4400 block of Penrose Street around 12:10 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
