Roderick Silinzy, a 40-year-old Black man, was killed on May 22, 2018, in St. Louis, Missouri, when gunfire struck him as he drove through the College Hill neighborhood. In the middle of the day, his vehicle veered off course and slammed into a vacant house in the 2100 block of Linton Avenue, leaving a violent stillness in the wake of the crash. When officers arrived, they found he had been shot, and he was declared dead at the scene.
