Robert T. Jordan, a 46-year-old police officer from Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on May 16, 1981. Officer Jordan, who had served with the St. Louis County Police Department for 19 years, was off duty at the time of the incident. He and his 11-year-old daughter were confronted by an armed robber in front of 4401 Shreve Avenue.
