Dayshawn Montez Jones, a 27-year-old African American male, was found with gunshot wounds in the driveway of a home on Walton Street in Durham, North Carolina, on January 20, 2020. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The incident began with a confrontation between Jones and another male inside the residence.
