On January 11, 2024, 46-year-old Michael Williams was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri's Columbus Square neighborhood. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 6:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Tucker Boulevard, where they found Williams with gunshot wounds to his back and chest; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old man was also injured in the incident, sustaining a gunshot wound to the chin, and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
