Detective Sergeant Jack R. Ohrberg, aged 44, tragically lost his life on December 11, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Detective Sergeant Ohrberg was a dedicated member of the Indianapolis Police Department, having served for 19 years. On the day of his death, he was involved in a high-risk operation to serve murder warrants on several gang members at a residence located at 3544 North Oxford Street.
