On September 8, 2024, Cordarryl Russell Duncan, a 35-year-old man, was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, around 3:20 a.m., when police were called to the 2900 block of North Sherman Drive, near the intersection of East 30th Street and North Sherman Drive, to investigate a report of a person shot.
