In the late spring of 2009, Wallace William Earle Sr., a 65-year-old man known to his friends and family as 'Bill,' passed away at his home in Oakland City, Indiana, on Friday, June 5th. A veteran of the Vietnam War where he served as a helicopter pilot in the Army, Earle had achieved the rank of First Class Captain.
