Death by Force

Tyrell Alford, a 16-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on January 2, 2014. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on the city's near east side, near the intersection of South Temple Avenue and Graydon Street. According to police reports, Alford was walking down the street when he was approached by several individuals. A confrontation ensued, leading to a physical altercation during which a shot was fired, fatally wounding Alford.
