In the early morning hours of October 5, 2022, the life of 37-year-old Robert McCullum Jr. was tragically cut short in a shooting on the north side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of East 38th Street. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a person shot and discovered McCullum in the parking lot of an apartment complex, suffering from what would prove to be fatal gunshot wounds.
