On the evening of August 3, 2020, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the near northeast side of the city following reports of a shooting. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of East 35th Street. Upon their arrival at the scene, first responders discovered a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
